One Month In: My Journey So Far at Mindruby

It's been a month since I joined this company, and I keep asking myself — how has the experience been? Read on to find out.

Hi, I'm Ayush, a software engineer at Mindruby. I joined a month ago, so let's start from day one: the joining.

Day 1: The Joining

I was a little nervous walking in — but that's normal for any new phase of life, and this was no different. The day started with an HR meet, where I met other new joiners who were starting alongside me. We got our systems allotted and wrapped up the usual formalities.

What stood out to me most, though, was the people. Everyone was warm and welcoming — some even came over just to say hi, which made me feel instantly more comfortable. It left me with a simple, reassuring thought: _okay, I belong here._

Nothing extraordinary happened that day, but it still felt deeply satisfying — mostly because of how many rejections and setbacks I'd faced on the way to this job. That made the moment feel earned.

There was also an intro session where I fumbled a bit — but hey, that happens. Aside from that, everything about the day was good. It was my first job, my first paycheck-earning role, and that made it feel genuinely special. Then I headed home, carrying that feeling with me.

The Weeks That Followed

Once training began, some senior employees stepped in to guide us through the ropes. But there was one thing missing early on — real interaction with other employees. That changed once our seating was moved, and we found ourselves right in the middle of the team.

From there, things picked up naturally. I started interacting with a lot more people, and things began to feel more relaxed. We celebrated birthdays, played games with teammates, and little by little, everything started flowing smoothly. I even got the chance to interact with the directors — and they turned out to be refreshingly down-to-earth.

One Month Later

It feels amazing knowing a whole month has gone by. The challenges are getting bigger as the days go on — but honestly, I'm loving every bit of it.

If You're About to Start Your Own Journey

If you want to have this kind of experience, there's one thing you absolutely need: don't let fear hold you back. You might feel nervous — that's fine, everyone does — but hold onto this mindset: _"ki jada se jada kya hi ho jayega, bejjati"_ (worst case, what's really going to happen — a little embarrassment?). Once you carry that attitude, things tend to fall into place.

Let's see where this journey takes me from here.

If you made it all the way to the end — thank you for reading.
